چکیده
Nanobiotechnology in agriculture is a driver for modern-day smart, efficient agricultural practices. Nanoparticles have been shown to stimulate plant growth and disease resistance. The goal of sustainable farming can be accomplished by developing sustainably exploiting the fruits nanobiotechnology balance advantages nanotechnology provides tackling environmental challenges. This review aims advance our understanding relevant areas, encourage interactions within research community broader application, benefit society through innovation realize critically evaluates what not known domain nano-enabled agriculture. It holistic view role multiple facets agriculture, from synthesis nanoparticles controlled targeted delivery, uptake, translocation, recognition, interaction with cells, toxicity potential nanoparticle complexes when presented cells.

Combating Micronutrient Deficiencies: Food-based Approaches
The importance of coexisting micronutrient defi ciencies in developing countries is gaining recognition, prompted by the disappointing responses often observed with single micronutrient supplements. Further, of concern is the feasibility and sustainability of supplementation as a mode of delivery in poor resource settings. Consequently, there is increasing emphasis on food-based approaches: for...
متن کاملCombating micronutrient deficiencies: problems and perspectives.
The title of this symposium, ‘Can nutrition intervention make a difference?’ raises the question of ‘make a difference to what?’, and raises the issue of how this difference can be measured and attributed to the intervention. The present paper focuses on the micronutrient interventions in which the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has been providing assistance for many years. It describe...
متن کاملNew challenges for Bioinformatics and Computational Chemistry in NanoBiotechnology
After the progress made during the Genomics Era, Bioinformatics was tasked to support the first flow of information generated by Nanobiotechnology at the early stages of development. This challenge requires the adaptation of classical bioinformatics tools, and also computational chemistry tools, to store, standardize, analyze and visualize the information generated in Nanobiotechnology. Therefo...
متن کاملMillets for Next Generation Climate-Smart Agriculture
Panicoids (subfamily: panicoideae) are a group of C4 grasses, which include agronomically important crops such as sorghum and maize, bioenergy feedstocks including sugarcane and miscanthus, nutri-cereals such as millets, and biofuel crops including switchgrass, napier grass and guinea grass. Among these, millets are known for their climate-resilient features including adaptation to a wide range...
